Merry Christmas

Wednesday 12/25/13

Merry Christmas to our family and friends.  We are scattered across the globe but with internet, emails and cell phones we manage to keep in contact with each other. Face time is wonderful.  I feel like I can almost reach through the iPad and touch a loved one.

We had a lovely walk on the beach to work up an appetite for the turkey dinner.

Jay gave us instructions on turkey brining and the bird came out of the oven juicy and moist. I love multi tooling.  My griddle also serves as a heating pad to keep everything nice and hot.

A delicious meal and plenty of leftovers!

    Hi Rose and Dean,

Hope your both having a lovely Christmas.

Your Christmas lunch looks delicious, pass on Jays instructions. I remember your Mum telling me that your Aunty Ciss use to put her bird into the oven up side down then turned it the right way round for the last half hour to brown the top off. I did it one year and it was very moist, so let us know Jays tip!!!

We had lunch at the triple As, they did a lovely lunch and desert, and I think Al and I had too much wine. Then later in the afternoon we all went round to Freda’s, Alexandra’s mums for tea and more drinks. Christmas Eve we went to her sister’s for the annual Christmas Eve Family party. They all looked after us so well.

We are just waiting for Abi to be dropped off to stay with us for two nights.

Will you manage to see the boys at all? Give them both our love and wishes for a very fruitful New Year, money wise that is.

Keep blogging, and a very Happy New Year to you both, we shall be well into it by the time you follow Sydney.

Lots of love and healthy New Year to you both.

    xxxGina & Eric xxxxxx
